The Midwest Cover Crops Council’s Annual Meeting will be held in South Dakota for the first time in conjunction with the South Dakota Soil Health Coalition’s annual Soil Health Conference. Join us to learn about cover crop research and advancements across the Midwest during our state reports on Monday, January 23, at 1:00 p.m. and continue through Tuesday morning, January 24, with additional updates and working sessions. Registration for the MCCC annual meeting is available here.

The SDSHC Soil Health Conference will begin at 1 p.m. at the same location on Tuesday, Jan. 24, and will end at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25. Attendees must register for the SDSHC Soil Health conference separately. Soil Health Conference registration can be found here.

Student registration for the Midwest Cover Crops Council Annual Meeting is free and includes special sessions designed for graduate students.

The registration cost for non-students is $40. Lunch on Tuesday will be included with registration leading into the SDSHC Soil Health Conference, which will begin at 1 p.m. on Wednesday.

Please email annamorrow@purdue.edu to register posters. Easel space is limited, and posters will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. 

Poster registration is required by Jan 13th to guarantee easel space. Posters submitted after the deadline will be accepted, as space allows.

Anyone is welcome to submit a poster to the MCCC annual meeting. We welcome you to display them throughout the MCCC annual meeting and into the SDSHC conference. Only students are eligible for prizes. Poster easels will be provided and are 36 x 48in. Posters up to ASA size (44.5″ x 44.5″) will be accepted, but will be large for the provided easels. Please register your poster even if you don’t plan to compete, so we have enough poster easels for everyone.

Online registration for MCCC annual meeting and poster competition is required. Students may submit an academic research poster on cover crops or continuous living cover. Cover crop species and varieties (where varieties were used) in the study must be named on the poster to qualify for prizes. Poster judging will be Monday Jan 23 from 5:30pm to 6:30pm during a networking reception. Enter to win $500 grand prize sponsored by GO Seed! Must be present to win.
